Questions everybody asks
Do I need to tell people I am recording?
Yes, and it is the right thing to do. Acerolla is a personal note-taking tool, and telling the participants is on you. In many places the law requires it.
Does my meeting audio go to a server?
No. Transcription runs inside your computer, with the model installed alongside the app. What goes up, when you sync, is the already encrypted note.
Does it work offline?
Recording and transcription work offline. The automatic summary needs a connection and is generated as soon as you are back online.
How many computers can I use it on?
Yours. The subscription is per person, and notes sync between your machines encrypted.
If I cancel, do I lose my notes?
No. The notes are yours, they live on your computer and can be exported to PDF whenever you want.
Which languages does it transcribe?
Portuguese, English and Spanish, with the interface in all three. The model follows mixed conversations without you switching anything.
